Description
Golden Brick Puerh is well-rounded and bold. When you remove the golden wrapper, the compressed tea is the right amount for 16 ounces of tea. Performs equally well as a traditional gong fu tea, or an extended steep—no bitterness, just robust and earthy goodness. Not only does this tea make an ideal coffee replacement, but the probiotic nature of puerh has a soothing effect on the stomach.
Our Golden Brick Puerh comes from Jingmai Mountain in Yunnan. The Dai people have been hand-picking the ancient tea trees for millennia, ensuring quality and continuing this time-honored tradition. This tea comes from a region in southern Yunnan, where the 700 to 1,000 year old ancient tea trees grow. In addition to producing teas with remarkable flavor and flexible steeping quality, the ancient tea trees thrive in a diverse forest that provides rich antioxidants and nutrients.
Lake Missoula Tea Company commits to direct-sourcing teas and botanicals from sustainable farms. First we choose organic ingredients, and then we create our blends in small batches. In short, we love to drink this stuff, and we’re proud to share with you the tastiest, freshest tea possible. Store away from light and oxygen, and your teas will keep for a good long time.
This is a look at a deep, complex forest-floor. A taste of time. A little hint of tobacco and a musky little jaunt into somewhere dark and secret and safe. The color portends both strength and grace. Can you taste the taste of ancient rituals? This tea asks you to search for that answer.
Hi Jerod, thank you for the descriptive Golden Brick Puerh review–it feels like you’re in a rainforest with the ancient tea trees! LMTC
Lake Missoula Tea Comoany introduced me to this magical tea which when brewed, like sticky rice puerh, presents a bold and sweet scent and taste – a perfect option for black tea lovers like me. The fermented leaves are packed with healthy benefits – try it and love it!
