Rooibos Tea

Rooibos Tea

Rooibos (ROY-boss) is a caffeine-free herb, often called “red tea” or “bush tea”. After being picked, it gets left in the sun to oxidize. The brewed tea has a deep red liquor and a hint of honey flavor. Rooibos, like green tea, is one of the most antioxidant rich beverages available.

Rooibos Tea:

About Rooibos

Rooibos comes from South Africa and is often referred to as red tea, or bush tea. Tea leaves are broken and red. Rooibos, nor it’s close relative honeybush, contain caffeine, though both are loaded with antioxidants.

Brew rooibos at boiling, like black tea. However, like many caffeine free herbs, steep around 7 minutes. This produces a great tasting and aromatic cup of red tea.
