Single Origin Green Tea:

About Single Origin Green Tea

Green teas aren’t oxidized and contain caffeine and antioxidants. Tea leaves may be broken, twisted, or rolled to enhance flavor. Broken leaf tea is typically more potent than its rolled or twisted counterparts, due to the exposure of the entire leaf while steeping. Twisted or rolled teas have varying degrees of sweetness and nuanced flavors.

Many of our single origin green organic teas are farm direct from Indonesia, China, India, Nepal, Japan and Colombia.

Our Sources

We offer a diverse selection of single origin green teas sourced from all over the world. All of our tea farm partnerships offer inspiring stories you can learn about in our blogs and on social media. We have tea from small farms in Indonesia, the ancient tea trees of Jingmai Mountain, the only tea farm in the Andean Mountains of Colombia, and the mountainous regions of Nepal. Our Darjeeling, India tea source is woman owned and actively rewilds part of the farm into corridors for elephants and other animals.

Fresh Tea and Organically Grown

Lake Missoula Tea Company’s single origin gree tea is fresh because we order small amounts and import farm direct when possible. Nearly all of our tea is organic, and when given the choice, we buy organic. We store our tea properly to maintain quality from the farm to your cup. You can buy this tea online from our black tea offerings.
