Kuki Cha
Nutty, sweet flavor. Called stem or twig tea because the stems and stalks of the tea leaf are included.

Kuki Cha is Japanese tea with a nutty, sweet flavor, reminiscent of roasted corn and toasted nuts. This flavor evokes fragrances of all things roasted and toasted.
Kuki Cha, or stem tea (twig tea), is aptly named because the stalks and stems of higher end teas (like Gyokuro or Sencha) are added to the mix. Stalks and stems contain little or no caffeine, and lend a mellow sweetness to the cup. Thus, this green tea makes a good choice to drink in the evening.
The tea master where this tea is made was recently awarded Top Tea Connoisseur in Japan. This company bypasses the government tea auctions and purchases their tea directly from the farmers. This way the tea farmers get a higher price for their crop. In addition, the tea manufacturer knows the tea source. You benefit from this arrangement, getting a consistent-tasting and high quality tea.
Kuki Cha's superb flavor is rich and fresh. We're proud to carry tea from this farm with such prestige. Drink this tea and savor its goodness!
We recommend you refrigerate Kuki Cha to maintain freshness.
