Description

Organic Matcha tastes creamy–smooth with a vegetal aroma. It finishes with a delicate aftertaste. Whether you like your matcha in the traditional style, or as a matcha latte, we have you covered.

Our matcha is shade grown approximately three weeks. Prior to processing, the stems and veins are removed and the tea leaves are ground into powdered form.

To prepare, mix matcha powder into water (traditionally done with a bamboo whisk). Because matcha consists of whole tea leaves, both nutrients—including chlorophyll, antioxidants, and vitamin content—and the caffeine content remain higher than infused teas. Matcha is the power punch of green tea!

While you might think drinking matcha is the only way to consume this healthy tea, there are endless ways to add it to your diet. Let our organic matcha shine in your smoothies, muffins, waffles, yogurt, and ice cream!

Storing your matcha is important. Minimize exposure to air and light. Keep the bag securely closed. We also recommend refrigerating your matcha for sustained quality and freshness.

The tea master who produces this matcha received the Top Tea Connoisseur award in Japan. This family-operated company bypasses the Japanese government tea auctions and purchases tea directly from the farmers. Thus tea farmers earn a higher price, and the manufacturer knows their tea source.

We offer four options of organic matcha:

  1. Lake Missoula’s honey matcha is my morning beverage. The light sweetness is perfect with the spring-like matcha flavor. I love making this with my traditional whisk as a sort of meditative love letter to mornings.

  2. Tried the mammoth matcha and I like the taste don’t know if it’s a first harvest or later … milder than a Jade leaf second harvest … should have asked what harvest it is.
I would recommend it for the matcha drinkers.
