Organic Matcha is creamy smooth and has a vegetal aroma. Our matcha finishes with a delicate aftertaste. Whether you like your matcha the traditional style, or as a matcha latte – we have your matcha needs covered.
Our matcha is shade grown approximately three weeks, with its stems and veins removed. The tea leaves are ground into powdered form. The powder is mixed with water and consumed in its entirety. Because the whole tea leaves are consumed, both nutrients and caffeine content are higher than infused teas. Matcha is the power punch of green tea!
Incorporate matcha into recipes such as smoothies or baked goods. Because the whole leaf is consumed, matcha has high chlorophyll (hence the fluorescent green color) antioxidants and vitamin content.
The tea master where this matcha is made received the Top Tea Connoisseur award in Japan. This family operated company bypasses the Japanese government tea auctions and purchases their tea directly from the farmers. Tea farmers get a higher price for their tea and the tea manufacturer knows their tea source.
We offer four options of organic matcha:
- Mammoth Matcha – single origin, slight astringency
- Ceremonial Matcha – single origin, premium, absolute umami, no astringency
- Wild Strawberry Matcha – a matcha blend with flavor, fresh strawberry notes
- Honey Matcha – a matcha blend with honey, rounded sweet notes
Consider adding a Matcha Whisk to your online order!

Tried the mammoth matcha and I like the taste don’t know if it’s a first harvest or later … milder than a Jade leaf second harvest … should have asked what harvest it is.
I would recommend it for the matcha drinkers.
