So pretty! I knew I would love these, but I was surprised by how small they were – which I’m sure is how they are supposed to be, I just had no idea. I wish there were a set of instructions that came with them to teach me how to use them, about where they are from, etc. Super cute though as decoration for now!
Hi Melissa, glad you like this gaiwan set. This style brewer allows for multiple steepings and comes with one pouring cup and one drinking cup. Add about a teaspoon of tea. Add water and steep for about 30 seconds. Strain into the larger pouring cup. Then serve yourself. When you rebrew the tea, steep a little longer, 45 seconds, then strain into the larger pouring cup, and serve yourself. Keep repeating this (adding more time with each steeping) until you taken all the flavor out of the leaf! Works best with whole leaf teas!
