Description
Ginkgo Leaf (sometimes spelled “gingko”) comes from one of the world’s oldest living tree species. The tea has a long reputation as a natural remedy, believed to help with memory, mental clarity, blood circulation, and more.
While native to China, the ginkgo leaf is also the symbol Tokyo. The tea has a delicious, sweet taste, with a muskiness similar to elderflower, as well as a nice piney aftertaste. As with most botanicals, a long steep can lead to greater health benefits—as well as stronger flavor! Follow your taste buds, and find the right balance for you. We recommend starting with a 5-minute steep, and then adding more time for a more potent cup.
Lake Missoula Tea Company commits to direct-sourcing teas and botanicals from sustainable farms. First we choose organic ingredients, and then we create our blends in small batches. In short, we love to drink this stuff, and we’re proud to share with you the tastiest, freshest tea possible. Store away from light and oxygen, and your teas will keep for a good long time.
