Honey Ponderosa is a hardy black tea blend. Our recipe distills that uncanny honey-vanilla-marshmallow aroma you smell in a Rocky Mountain pine forest into a cup of tea. Bee pollen adds a special heft to the brew, while the honey aroma invites a slow-blooming sweetness. Delicious tasting and so smooth, yet maintains that classic black tea kick. Try it chilled, and you might drink it all summer long: robust, but with an extra special something, always inviting another sip.
Never sniffed a Ponderosa pine? Come in close: this is a hint of Montana wilderness. The Ponderosa Pine, while found all over the West, is the Montana State tree. When you walk through a Ponderosa forest on a hot day, you might sniff out a vanilla aroma. Scientists theorize that tree sap interacts with the heat, producing that honey, vanilla, and roasted marshmallow smell all rolled into one. My husband and I bought a small bag in your shop while visiting Missoula and I fell in love with the honey ponderosa. The smell reminds me of the pipe tobacco my grandpa used to smoke so it’s very nostalgic and has such a great flavor! I’m ordering a bigger bag this time.

Personal opinion: this is the best tea I’ve ever had! I visited Missoula for a summer and had the privilege of sipping on this tea while I was there. It’s naturally sweet so I never need to add sugar. Had to have some shipped to my hometown. 10/10 recommend 🙂
