Brewed this morning - and has a lovely aroma - not berry heavy, just right! My daughter dislikes berry teas, but she really liked this one - a great balance with the wild berry and the black tea. I added a teaspoon of sugar, which minimizes the black tea tannins. It’s a great morning “let’s wake up!” tea - smells amazing, and tastes amazing, with a jolt of caffeine to get you going!
Second time I ordered for my daughter. She loves this tea!
I love the name because it reminds me of the movie Tombstone: “I'm your huckleberry” Besides the name, the flavor is great, and i really enjoy the subtleness and then more flavor comes when you get closer to the bottom.
This is my favorite tea to bring to work. It gets me through the mornings with the bright spot of huckleberry flavor - something about it just is so fun and energizing! I’ve been drinking it for several years and will be interested to see how the new recipe goes. Since I usually brew it as I’m getting ready in the morning I’ll have no problem doing a blind taste test! But all the teas from this store have been so fresh and delicous, I’m still excited to order this blend while it’s offered.
This tea has a nice, tart brightness to it that many fruit teas don't seem to have (surely the huckleberry!) I love drinking a cup of this tea after a long day of work- it really does work wonders as a pick me up. (Also, I'm certain I'm a bit weird for doing this, but I tried eating one of the berries after steeping my tea, and it was quite delicious! You can really see where those flavors shine through in the tea)
I'm typically a black tea drinker, no flavors. This has the perfect hint of berry. Not obnoxiously flavored, just perfect! Thanks for sending a sample with a past order!
I love this tea. The flavor of this tea is what bears dream about when they are hibernating in the winter. I like it with milk and honey.
Heather - This tea did indeed have whole dried huckleberries in it (and my tea packaging has "huckleberry" in the ingredients). It was by far my favorite tea of all the various kinds from various makers that I drink. I will try the new version, but if like Kia I think it's just "fine", I will stop ordering it until the hucks are back. Otherwise it's just not worth it.
I loved this tea, but then you took out the huckleberry pieces. Now it is just. . . fine. I get supply chain issues, but change the name if you’re taking out the signature ingredient.
