Eastern Elm Clay Travel Gaiwan Set

A compact clay gaiwan set designed for gong fu cha brewing at home or on the go. The set includes the gaiwan, two small cups, and a zippered carrying case — everything you need for multiple steepings wherever you are.

Clay gaiwans are favored by serious tea drinkers because the porous material gradually absorbs the oils and aromas of the teas you brew in it, subtly enhancing flavor over time. The more you use it, the better it gets. 

How to brew: Add whole leaf tea to the gaiwan, pour hot water, steep for 20–30 seconds, and strain into the cups. Repeat multiple times, adding a few seconds to each subsequent steep.
