It's all abuzz that tea helps you lose weight. It seems like the perfect solution to unwanted pounds! Several people asked us how and which teas can help you lose the most. There are a few considerations when you say tea can help you lose weight. For one, some tea can increase your metabolic rate by approximately 4 percent. This can give you a boost throughout the day. In addition, you may increase your physical activity due to the extra energy.

A big part of weight loss and tea is that when you replace soft drinks, juice, beer, etc. with tea, you get immediate results with less calories consumed. This is especially true if you add little or no sweeteners. If you find yourself craving sugar, brew yourself a cup of flavored or blended tea with fruit naturally sweet. These teas have little or no calories. Drinking tea as a replacement to higher calorie drinks will obviously lower your caloric intake.

Increasing physical activity due to tea's effect on your metabolic rate, and replacing higher calorie foods and drinks with tea, can lead to better health and weight loss. While all tea can help promote weight loss, green and oolong are generally emphasized in the sources we've read.
