About this tea

Royal Lapsang is an exquisite, slightly smoked black tea. With hints of dried plum and molasses, this single origin, smooth tea could easily become your favorite.

This style is more subtle and complex compared to your typical Lapsang Souchong (a bold smoked tea). Robust yet layered with flavor and mouthfeel.

Royal Lapsang’s discovery was an accident! When we qc'ed an order of Lapsang Souchong from China to our previous lot, we wondered if it was smoked at all! Tasting the tea alone without the influence of the smokier version, we realized we had an outstanding tea on our hands. Our source confirmed this was a different style of Lapsang Souchong, with light smoke and preferred over a smokier Lapsang Souchong.

    Omg, The Royal Lapsang is soo good. it tastes sweet like honey? not sure, but its' delicious.

    I'd add this to my collection of Earl Grey `creme da la creme` && `Huckelberry` for flavor and `ginko brain tea`.
