Peach Peridot Oolong is a lighter oolong. You'll find the flavor profile similar to green tea - delicate in body, with fresh floral notes.
We worked carefully to get the perfect amount of peach in this blend, not overwhelming, but definitely present. These delicately placed fruit notes allow the oolong tea taste to shine through. The tea is rolled leaf style and unfolds layers of flavor with every sip. As with any large leaf tea, remember to try multiple steeps. Peach Peridot Oolong also makes an exquisite chilled tea.
We took inspiration when naming this tea from the gemstone peridot, which has a green, olive-like color. A peridot stone is rare, and in historic times a peridot gem was considered to cure depression. Peridot is also one of the birthstones for the month of August.
