English Breakfast is our strong, gently persistent morning-time tea. This premium blend takes a rich Colombian black, with a slightly dry Darjeeling from Nuxalbari Tea Estate, and lastly adds a malty Nepalese tea. The result is not too brisk, but warm and earthy, with a nice chewy mouthfeel.
Savor our English Breakfast on a quiet morning, or set your pace for a long day ahead. A 3-minute steep tastes balanced, with pleasant aromatics, and only a slight hint of astringency. Or, if you prefer your wake-up brew with a bit more bite, try a longer steep.
While our Darjeeling and Nepalese teas come from opposite sides of the globe from our Colombian tea, these farms have several values in common. All are earnest about the environment, and work toward reforestation on their estates and in their regions. They maintain wildlife corridors on their tea farms, which act as animal sanctuaries. The farms support education programs. Their education and work-standard values improve their communities by elevating everyone. We are proud to carry tea from these farms.
