Apricot Green captures the essence of these early-season fruits. The cup has a light body, with a clear apricot taste that never overwhelms the green tea. A clean, dry finish leaves you craving another sip.
We seek authenticity in our fruity blends - nothing artificial or overly sweet. For example, consider the similarities between tea and apricots. Both have abundant, naturally occurring tannins, which can leave that dry, astringent feeling in your mouth. In this particular blend, that crisp aftertaste echoes the true feeling of biting into an apricot, fresh from the tree. The experience feels true and invigorating.
If your tea tastes at all bitter, simply lower your water temperature or reduce your steeping time for a smoother cup. Or, if you like tea with a little more bite, steep longer. Once you find the perfect method, you might end up doing what we do: brew Apricot Green all summer long, and drink it chilled from the fridge. And when it's cold, a hot mug of Apricot Green evokes the next turning of the season.
We hope you enjoy this apricot blend as much as we do!
A made in Montana tea.
