About this tea

Willy Wonka Chocolate Cardamom is a sweet and savory teatime treat. Of course, it's hard to go wrong when there's chocolate involved! This cup leads with the smooth and creamy feel of a rich chocolate bar, with a pleasant butterscotch undercurrent. And then you get a whiff of cardamom.

Many of us first tasted cardamom as part of a chai mix. But this Southeast Asian spice has tremendous range. Similar to cinnamon, cardamom can lean sweet or savory, depending on context. In our Willy Wonka tea, chocolate turns cardamom into a nutty, almost savory counterpart. Chocolate's dark depths emphasize cardamom's bright, piney–minty quality. Coming from two different corners of the globe, chocolate and cardamom make magic together that Willy Wonka would be proud of.

Willy Wonka Chocolate Cardamom

I keep leaving reviews saying "this is a favorite" - but I have a lot of favorites from Lake Missoula Tea! Cardamom and Chocolate together - I'd have never thought I'd like it so much and I could see why there was a note saying, "this is a staff favorite!" in my previous order. I've been looking forward to my next order to restock and am so relieved to see it is still here. :)

We visited Montana and found Lake Missoula Tea Company. After some samples, we sat at the tea bar and shared a pot of this incredible Willy Wonka tea!
