Description
Sri Lankan (Ceylon) is our classic “brisk” tea. With a smaller cut of tea leaf, this brew makes for a bold experience.
Formerly known as the British Colony of Ceylon, Sri Lanka achieved independence from Britain in 1948 and renamed itself Sri Lanka in 1972. In 2011, the Sri Lankan government had a goal to remove the name Ceylon from all things it had control over. Cheers to the sovereign Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka!
