We celebrate our partnership with Nuxalbari Tea Estate, a woman-owned tea farm located at the foothills of the Himalayas. Sonia Jabbar practices environmental stewardship in many ways, from converting the five-generation tea farm to regenerative and organic practices, to rebuilding elephant habitat and green corridors through the estate. Elephants take sanctuary at Nuxalbari. Sonia invites the children of her 1,000 employees to learn from the environmental curriculum she has developed on the estate. The government of India has recognized Sonia for her inspired—and inspiring—environmental work.
