Description

Mimosa Oolong tastes like sunshine in a teacup! The mixture of teas, lemon myrtle, orange peel, and red safflower is brightly colorful and extremely aromatic. Then the brewed liquor is light-bodied and thoughtful, with subtle oolong mineral notes, and several layers of citrus. Finally, the aftertaste lingers, inviting another sip, and another. Mimosa Oolong is mouthwatering, invigorating, and delicious hot or cold.

We enjoy this tea as a summertime thirst-quencher, or as a wintertime pick-me-up. While the aroma is sweet and bright, the taste is juicy and snappy, with hints of orange and mandarin. The primary fruit flavor is Calamansi, a type of citrus grown in the Philippines, where people drink it as a juice or lemonade. With all of the fruitiness, you might not notice the tea for a few sips. But then, you’ll feel how it anchors the brightness, rounding out this tea with warmth and depth.

Cheers to fun oolong tea! We enjoy seeing people smile when they taste this one. And for a treat, combine a bit of chilled Mimosa Oolong with orange juice: we have a recipe here, along with a few other cocktail-inspired tea concoctions.

  • Oolong tea*, orange peel*, orange blossom, safflower*, lemon myrtle*, natural flavor, *organic
  • Caffeine. A made in Montana tea

Probably one of my favorite all time teas! I came across it at the Farmers Market in Missoula and figured I’d try it. I will tell you that it not only sounds good, but also smells so good and I love to steep this a little extra long for a strong flavor. I’m an avid tea drinker, but this one is something I recommend to anyone who enjoys tea or likes a cup of citrus delight. You can’t go wrong with this one!

Hi Coady, Awesome! Glad you discovered the Mimosa Oolong! LMTC

I've been going to Lake Missoula Tea Company for years, and recently have had the privilege of putting some of their tea in my store. The quality of the tea is fantastic, and the blends are delightful. I have also attended one of their tasting / learning events and it was great. I highly recommend their downtown store for meeting with friends, family or even just for a nice place to go and have a cup of perfectly brewed tea.

Amazing variety great prices and they'll brew top shelf teas you may be reluctant to buy before trying for a dollar more. Great selection for Missoula. Friendly knowledgeable staff and beautiful tea sets and accessories

Best store in Montana possibly in all of the United States. I don't know. This is the first Gong Fu tea shop I've ever been to. I came in for a matcha whisk because I donated mine to a museum. Before I left a random customer who was introduced to me as a regular bought me tea. I hugged him which isn't something I normally do. But I was incredibly thankful. Then the man behind the counter gave me a free sample. I went in looking for a simple tool and left with tea and a happy spirit. I am looking forward to making it back as soon as possible! I loved it. I think it will always hold a special place in my blood pumping organ.

We are major tea snobs and I was absolutely delighted by this store. There are the usual suspects as well as shelves of unique, hand-picked teas. Highly recommend the Golden Snail :) It was really special being able to try whatever tea I wanted before buying. I'm looking forward to subscribing to their tea club. I would love to come back: everything was delicious.
