Java Oolong Medium and Light Roast Tea
Java Oolong comes in two styles, medium roast and light roast. This organic oolong grows high up in the beautiful, steep mountains of southern Java, Indonesia. This Java tea is grown on a small scale, artisan tea farm where it’s hand picked and processed on site by locals from the nearby village. The tea farm is nestled at the top of the mountain with tremendous views of the ocean and the adjacent Mount Halimun Salak National Park.
The medium roast oolong’s aroma is roasty. The taste full flavor with hints of honey and is a Da Hong Pao, or Big Red Robe, style oolong. The light roast hints of fruit and floral notes. You can brew either tea multiple times. In addition, the medium roast oolong won a silver medal in the 2018 Global Tea Championship in Boulder, Colorado!
