A New Tea Tumbler

Heather Kreilick

A new tea tumbler is now available to our customers. We worked on this tea brewer in 2024 and are finally releasing it in 2025! We're so excited to finally share it with you! This new tea product is our very own tea tumbler called the Finley To-Go!

Choosing a Name

When designing the Finley To-Go tea tumbler, we wanted to create something easy for people to take anywhere. Whether they were on their way to work, taking a hike, or going to yoga, we wanted you to take your tea with you. Choosing the name was the last step we did for this tea tumbler. Initially, there was a lot of consideration, brainstorming, and back and forth with name ideas. Jokingly we were like, we can call it anything. Finley, my dog, was right at my feet! And the name Finley To-Go stuck.

Why the Finley To-Go

The Finley To-Go is different from other tumblers on the market. We wanted to design a tumbler for people to brew loose-leaf tea anytime and anywhere. Whether you're heading to work at the office, going down to the Clark Fork for a walk along the river trail, or hiking the M trail, the Finley To-Go makes it easy to grab and head out the door and make your tea wherever you are.

All types of loose-leaf tea can be brewed in the Finley To-Go. We chose a longer stainless steel brewer that fits deep inside the tumbler. This gives you more options for brewing. For optimal flavor, we suggest using filtered water and being mindful of your steeping time.

How to Use our Tea Tumbler

The Finley To-Go is super easy to use. You simply unscrew the airtight lid and take out the brewing basket. Take the lid off the basket and add your loose-leaf tea. Screw the brewing basket back on and put back in the tumbler. Make sure to push it all the way in so it is secure. Add your hot or cold water and give it a few minutes to steep! Leave the basket in or take it out, depending on your tea steeping style.

Tea Tips

If you cold brew your tea, it typically needs to steep overnight in the fridge. The tea tumbler is perfect for that. And if you don’t have a measuring spoon for your loose leaf tea, no problem! A palm full of tea will suffice.

Lastly, Finley’s favorite tea is Shortbread Cookie because he loves cookies.

If you want to buy this slick yet practical tea tumbler, you can stop by our shop in Missoula, Montana! Of course, if you can't make it to the tea shop, you can always buy your Finley To-Go on our website!
