When women’s businesses flourish, their families and communities do too. Promote women-owned business and expand their opportunities by doing business with them. The Women’s Empowerment Tea Box brings together several women-owned businesses in one place.

What’s Included in the Women’s Empowerment Tea Box?

We bring you three teas, one jar of Montana-made honey, and a tea tumbler. Here are the products and stories behind who they support:

• Darjeeling Shanti Hathi – Peaceful Elephant is a brisk black from India. Sonia Jabbar owns this estate. She’s the mother of one, and boss of approximately 1,000! Learn more about Sonia and her tea farm, and how she helps elephants, as well as the people in her community.
• Lemon Myrtle is the most delicious single botanical we’ve found. Wendy owns the organic farm where we source this herb, which is endemic to Australia.
• Scheherazade Shai is our boldest, briskest chai. We blend the chai (shai is an Arabic reference to chai) at Lake Missoula Tea Company, using tea from Nuxalbari Tea Estate.
• Rivulet Apiaries Raw Montana Honey is a jar of natural sweetness that comes from our friend Kavita in the Clark Fork River Valley in Montana. Kavita sells all things honey at Hindu Hillbilly! Kavita produces sustainable products that promote the environment and the honey bee!
• Chicago Tea Tumbler comes with an internal strainer. The tumbler is smooth and modern, and keeps your tea hot! We source this from Grosche, a majority woman owned business in Canada. Partial proceeds support safe water projects in six countries, an international tree planting project, and a living wage for their employees.

Lastly, Lake Missoula Tea Company is majority woman owned. This brings us to five total women-owned businesses in the Women’s Empowerment Tea Box!
