Ok, I got this has my freebie sample in my last order. I can’t really describe the taste. Does it taste vaguely but pleasantly like marshmallows or is just that I can’t separate my mental picture from the tea? Either way I would consider ordering it and just a plug that marshmallow root is said to have healthy properties.

      Hi Leslie,
Along with marshmallow roots health properties, it actually was used in old fashioned marshmallows:
      Taken from wikipedia:
“The root has been used since Egyptian antiquity in a honey-sweetened confection useful in the treatment of sore throat.[4] The later French version of the recipe, called pâte de guimauve (or “guimauve” for short), included an eggwhite meringue and was often flavored with rose water. Pâte de guimauve more closely resembles contemporary commercially available marshmallows, which no longer contain any actual marshmallow.”
