  1. I loved this tea, but then you took out the huckleberry pieces. Now it is just. . . fine. I get supply chain issues, but change the name if you’re taking out the signature ingredient.

    • Hi Kia, glad you like our High Country Huckleberry. We used to have huckleberry powder in this tea (not pieces ; ) Our single source for this powder had such a slim crop due to weather last year, that they produced no powder. They are unsure if it will be available in the future due to what they are noticing with the climate. As you might know, huckleberries only grow in the wild. Hopefully it’s available this year, and you can rest assured we’ll add it back in! Prior to releasing this change, we did a taste test with and without the powder, and the tasters couldn’t tell the difference.
Like you, we hope this is temporary! LMTC

      • Heather – This tea did indeed have whole dried huckleberries in it (and my tea packaging has “huckleberry” in the ingredients). It was by far my favorite tea of all the various kinds from various makers that I drink. I will try the new version, but if like Kia I think it’s just “fine”, I will stop ordering it until the hucks are back. Otherwise it’s just not worth it.

        • Hi JB, Glad you like our High Country Huckleberry blend. In the past it had huckleberry powder and black currants. We still use black currants, but the powder is not always available. We like to encourage folks to do blind tastings. Brew both versions if you still have the earlier version. See if you can tell the difference without knowing which tea is which. It’s fun and forces you to rely on your senses alone! LMTC

  2. This tea has a nice, tart brightness to it that many fruit teas don’t seem to have (surely the huckleberry!)
I love drinking a cup of this tea after a long day of work- it really does work wonders as a pick me up.

(Also, I’m certain I’m a bit weird for doing this, but I tried eating one of the berries after steeping my tea, and it was quite delicious! You can really see where those flavors shine through in the tea)

  3. I’m typically a black tea drinker, no flavors. This has the perfect hint of berry. Not obnoxiously flavored, just perfect! Thanks for sending a sample with a past order!

  4. I love this tea. The flavor of this tea is what bears dream about when they are hibernating in the winter. I like it with milk and honey.

I had a friend share some of their instant golden latte mix with me and it is amazing. I suffer from really bad inflammation in my hands and this calms it down so well. It is also very delicious so I just had to get some of my own. They also sent me some stickers, a nice note and a sample. It was so sweet. My cat definitely approves. Thank you!

Best store in Montana possibly in all of the United States. I don't know. This is the first Gong Fu tea shop I've ever been to. I came in for a matcha whisk because I donated mine to a museum. Before I left a random customer who was introduced to me as a regular bought me tea. I hugged him which isn't something I normally do. But I was incredibly thankful. Then the man behind the counter gave me a free sample. I went in looking for a simple tool and left with tea and a happy spirit. I am looking forward to making it back as soon as possible! I loved it. I think it will always hold a special place in my blood pumping organ.

I've been going to Lake Missoula Tea Company for years, and recently have had the privilege of putting some of their tea in my store. The quality of the tea is fantastic, and the blends are delightful. I have also attended one of their tasting / learning events and it was great. I highly recommend their downtown store for meeting with friends, family or even just for a nice place to go and have a cup of perfectly brewed tea.
