Description
Go-Go Calypso: music to your ears, and a treat for your taste buds. We wanted a caffeine-free blend that brought out the natural sweetness of our (already delicious) South African rooibos and honeybush. We added coconut flakes, doubling down on that creamy, vanilla–sweet quality. Then, with that deep and rich foundation established, tropical mango and guava notes give a bright and thoughtful finish to each sip. When people smell this blend, they say the aroma is intoxicating. The tea tastes stupendous hot—but when summer arrives, we keep a pitcher in the fridge at all times. A cup of chilled Go-Go goes down a little too easy: smooth, simple, and deeply satisfying.
Yes, we know we’re confounding our musical genres with the Go-Go Calypso. We wanted to evoke the beach, lush fruits, coconuts, the sound of steel drums and marimbas drifting through air, carried on a sea breeze…
But then, Calypso is also the name of the Greek nymph who seduced Odysseus for years on an island. At long last, he was able to break away from her spell. Perhaps you’ll find this rooibos blend similarly transfixing.
A made in Montana tea.
