  1. This tea just makes me so happy. I love the little bit of sweetness the stevia adds.

  2. I am a ‘Tea Snob” and just discovered this wonderful tea, full of so many amazing ingredients! The aroma alone is our Heaven! No sweetener needed; this no doubt will be in my top 5! Sip, Sip, Sip…ahhhhhhhhh

  3. A few years ago, the daughter of one of my professors gifted me E in M tea. I loved it so much that I promised myself if I ever found myself in Missoula, I would stop in and buy more. One glorious summer morning a couple of years later, I had the opportunity to be the first customer in the door. Oh, the joy! Being a bit of tea connoisseur, I was like a kid in a candy store. By the time my kids found me, I was fully caffeinated. Ha! Now my entire family enjoys a cuppa E in M. I am in agreement with the folks who would rather enjoy it without stevia. Also, what happened to the two sisters of E in M – I cannot remember their names, but they were equally as good. I don’t see them listed anywhere. Bring them back! (glacier something… and ??)

  4. I first heard of E in M tea in Bozeman in 74-75. I lived in Missoula Fall 1976-Spring 1978 getting my BA in Spanish. When I left I took a big jar with me and it has since disappeared. I get cravings for it and want some again. If possible I would like it without Stevia. The story I heard(‘75-‘76 in Bozeman) was several people were sitting around after having a really great meal. They started thinking “what would be a really great digestive and calming tea to have after a meal at night” and voilà Evening in Missoula was born. Please send storage info to keep my tea as fresh as possible for as long as possible. Thanks!!

    • Hi Marcia, Glad you love the tea! Keep your tea out of light and air, so store in the bags we send the tea in and keep cool and dry. Let us know if you have more questions! LMTC

  5. I’ve never been a tea fan. Evening in Missoula has changed that. Coffee remains my reason for waking up in the morning, french pressing great, black, dark roasted brew every sunrise. Evening in Missoula might not be my reason for waking up, but has now become a reliably beautiful and delicious way to say good night. Time soon for my second lovely pound.

  6. Have a friend who moved to Montana a few years ago. She introduced my husband and I (both avid tea drinkers) to Lake Missoula Tea Company and well as Evening in Missoula tea. We visited her and Missoula in 2018 and fell in love…with both the tea company and Montana. We place a large order about every 6 months. And it usually includes this tea which is my favorite by far. We enjoy it hot or cold but anytime we smell it, it takes us back to our amazing visit to Big Sky Country. Orders always arrive quickly, with a hand written note of thanks, usually a free gift (yeah did I mention we place LARGE orders?-LOL) and always a sample to try. We absolutely love this tea and Missoula Tea Company! Keep up the good work!

    • Hi Laurie,
Thank you for sharing your tea story and the vote of confidence! We’re glad to hear you appreciate the notes, gifts and samples that we include with our tea orders. Thank you a TON! Take care, LMTC

  7. Evening in Missoula happens to be my go-to tea always! It has the right blend of sass for an afternoon cup but also the right amount of mellow to put in a great mood before bed. It has been a staple during my quarantine time and I seriously suggest you pick up a bag! This stuff is like a drug. I’m in love!!

  8. Been drinking this for years and sent to friends in New Mexico. I’m sure you’ll have a couple of new fans soon! Want to give a special shout out to Heather and the people at Lake Missoula – outstanding service and terrific people!

  9. I absolutely love Evening in Missoula tea. Please make the original blend available without Stevia! Totally unnecessary! I have been drinking this for over 40 years and the last batch suddenly tasted different, and not in a good way. Love all the flavors I have tried. None of them need Stevia!

  10. Hello all,
I am trying to figure out if it this is the tea blend that I have purchased from the Kootenay Co-op in Canada. The blend I had was also called Evening in Missoula, the photo appears to match, my main question is the taste – would anyone be able to reply with an attempt to describe this amazing tea flavor? The one I had was like a delicate floral, rootbeer with hint of mint not enough to have an effect beyond scent. Does this sound similar? Thankyou for your help!

  11. Why, oh, why did you add stevia to this delightful tea? I used to love it and can not stand the sweetness with the stevia. Please go back to the unsweetened blend!

  12. My boss brought me back some of this tea from her trip back home. I am so happy she did….it is by far the most relaxing cup of tea I have had and I drink a lot of tea!

  13. This is my all time favourite tea! Had it in a local coffee/tea shop in Madison, WI. Makes a great tea bath too!! 💕💕. So happy I found you!!

  14. I think this is my all time favorite Lake Missoula Tea company tea. Ok, probably all time favorite of any tea. It is simply a lovely cup of happiness every time I brew it. Perfection!

  15. I first sampled this tea at a high end restaurant. It has become the favorite tea for all of us at the table.
Thank you for creating joy in a cup.

I had a friend share some of their instant golden latte mix with me and it is amazing. I suffer from really bad inflammation in my hands and this calms it down so well. It is also very delicious so I just had to get some of my own. They also sent me some stickers, a nice note and a sample. It was so sweet. My cat definitely approves. Thank you!

Best store in Montana possibly in all of the United States. I don't know. This is the first Gong Fu tea shop I've ever been to. I came in for a matcha whisk because I donated mine to a museum. Before I left a random customer who was introduced to me as a regular bought me tea. I hugged him which isn't something I normally do. But I was incredibly thankful. Then the man behind the counter gave me a free sample. I went in looking for a simple tool and left with tea and a happy spirit. I am looking forward to making it back as soon as possible! I loved it. I think it will always hold a special place in my blood pumping organ.

I've been going to Lake Missoula Tea Company for years, and recently have had the privilege of putting some of their tea in my store. The quality of the tea is fantastic, and the blends are delightful. I have also attended one of their tasting / learning events and it was great. I highly recommend their downtown store for meeting with friends, family or even just for a nice place to go and have a cup of perfectly brewed tea.
