Lake Missoula’s Black Pearl Oolong

Lake Missoula’s Black Pearl oolong has a dark liquor, and a slight tart fruit flavor. The taste is reminisced of green apples and dried plums. This oolong sneaks up on you – with a flavor you will find yourself craving. Clean, crisp and delicious.

The leaf style is rolled. Give the leaf plenty of room to open up and infuse. This is a tea that won’t get bitter, no matter how long you steep it.

We get this oolong from a tea company that has a farm on the Indonesian island of Sumatra. The family that owns this farm is Taiwanese and renown for their superb oolongs. Due to this tea’s exceptional taste, we’ve carried it on our shelves since we opened our doors in 2012.

Sumatran oolong.
