White Tea

Generally, white tea consists of the tea buds and has little caffeine. White tea is sun dried or withered, allowing for slight oxidation.  Heat is then applied to stop the oxidation.  The buds found in white tea provide a light, delicate and at the same time complex flavor.  The liquor is ranges from a pale yellow to light coppery color.

Our Sources

Our white tea is sourced from Taiwan and China.  Yin Zhen (Silver Needles) consists entirely of buds.  Our White Peony (Pai mu tan) is a blend of leaf and bud.

Fresh Tea

Lake Missoula Tea Company’s white tea is fresh because we order small amounts and get as direct from the farm as we can.  We store tea properly to maintain quality from the farm to your cup.  You can buy this tea online from the list below.
