Art Talk & Tasting: Ceramicist Bruce Kitts
“A winemaker once told me: ‘I do not make the wine, the yeast do; I just create the environment for that to happen.’ Taking this same approach to my firing process, I introduce an element of risk that encapsulates the spirit of the atmospheric elements.” – Bruce Kitts, LMTC potter-in-residence
Hear more about Kitt’s thoughts on pottery and his techniques Friday, March 8th from 6-7 pm during our Art Talk & Tasting at Lake Missoula Tea Company. We will sample a lovely Japanese green tea as well.
This is part of the Art Talk series, which consists of open and public interviews with local ceramicists making tea ware. Free at our tea bar in Missoula, MT- 136 E. Broadway.
